Shakes Island fundraiser was held at the Elks on February 6, 2009. It was a huge success that would not have been possible without generous donations of time, auction items and money. The community turned out in force with everyone jumping in whenever they saw we needed help. The funds will be used to retain an architectural firm to do an in-depth assessment to be used in grant funding proposals. Gunalcheesh'
